After twenty plus hours of flying, we had finally made it! My little plane buddies did absolutely amazing! (I'm not talking about Justin either) haha! I'm all the time seeing ladies blog or give tips of how to travel with kids and it's all really good stuff but I will tell you what the number one thing to have is... family and friends to be praying for you! Now my sister was very prepared and had some really cool things for the girls to travel with but when you're embarking on a journey like this you need more than what meets the eye. The strength you need only comes from the one who made you, the one who has given you the call to Go! My sister had something I knew was coming from the one she loved more than anything else on this planet! God gave us smooth flights and any concerns we may have had to begin with He supplied every need and gave us exactly what we needed! we did have some really funny moments on the plane like when the lady offered me and Lilli a Mimosa I REFUSED and thought how could she offer my niece that... she offered us a Samosa its a stuffed pastry folks I repeat a stuffed pastry! We laughed so hard and I can still see Celeste looking back shaking her head at me. Larissa discovered my beef jerky hidden in my carry on and literally stands on the plane saying nice and loudly "mo beef jerky, give me some mo beef jerky" ... If you don't know already cows are a treasure in India and you cannot get any beef there. Once again Celeste and Jordan probably second guessed bringing me with them. Those what could have been very long hours on the plane turned into sweet precious memories with my nieces. Playing ponies, watching movies together and watching them sleep are priceless moments I will always hold on to. It was 4 am when we landed in India. We had left Atlanta two days prior on a red-eye flight. We were all exhausted but very thankful we made it safely. We made it out of the airport and it was so nice to see a couple of familiar faces. We had some very sweet sweet ladies waiting to welcome us and help get us to our next destination! Which was no easy task! One of these sweet ladies had been someone I had prayed for many years ago to do this exact same thing would now be helping my family get settled and begin serving God in the same country! It's amazing how God works. So off we go in the middle of the night seven people, seventeen bags, three vehicles, on our way to a little apartment that holds more memories than I can tell. I'll try to share as many as I can and I hope they are fun and enjoyable but the real reason we're here is to help and assist our family to live here, to find a permanent home for them, they have a purpose in this. The souls of this country need to hear what so many of us know and sometimes take for granted, to know and to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
