Favorite Thanksgiving Traditions

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for and reflect on everything God has given us. We are reminded in Psalms 107 that we are to praise Him for all his goodness and wonderful works and oh how many there are!We have SO SO SO much to be thankful for! Here are a few of our favorite Thanksgiving traditions we have as a family.

1. Summer~ Every year since I was little Mom has had me and my siblings write 31 things we are thankful for here are mine from this year:

*Salvation

*The Bible

*Jesus

*My family- Mom and Dad, Brothers and Sisters, Nana and Grandad, Grammie and Papa, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins

*Freedom

*The virtuous ladies God has placed in my life

*America

*My home

*Everything in our home

*Books

*Clean water

*Clean air

*Our soldiers

*Friends

*Life

*Food

*Beautiful Weather

*Clothes

*Shoes

*My bedroom

*The blog with Mama

*The piano

*My ukuleles

*Memories

*Fun times

*Music

*Health

*Rain*

*Education

*Peace and Joy

*Love

2.Grace~ The day before Thanksgiving my family and I stay home together and bake and spend time together as a family.

3.Summer~I love the day before Thanksgiving just as much as Thanksgiving day we bake, drink hot cocoa, watch hallmark movies, and spend time together.

4.Grace~ Every year since I was a teenager I have brought a man a thanksgiving dinner plate and every year I pull in the driveway and see his smiling face its the best feeling in the world.

5.Grace~ Here are just a few things I'm thankful for:

*Knowing God as my personal Savior

*Having a copy of God's word

*My husband

*My five beautiful children

*My church

*My Mom and Dad

*My Brother and Sisters

*My Grandparents

*My country

*My friends

6.Summer~ This may sound kinda silly but I love picking out the outfit that I will wear on Thanksgiving Day.
